It was amazing watching my wife through her pregnancy and the birth of our daughter. The natural instinct of Motherhood was really noticeable in the early stages where it seemed that her body, her mind, and our unborn daughter, were all working together to prepare her for what was coming in 9 months. I feel that being a loving and caring mother or father can be a person’s biggest accomplishment in life but it does not have to be the only accomplishment and does not have to be what defines you.

Very true, Natella! I have also witnessed the problems you are talking about. It is pretty common for parents, especially for mothers to allow the identity of parenthood to absorb them.

Being a mother for sure is identity! Every girl since childhood cuddles a baby doll, tries to feed it. )) However, I really believe that we need to creat mom-child friendship that will make kids to share all their life stories with you instead of lock-in and make wrong decisions. As friends I believe we can protect more because at certain age kids more listen to friends than to parents.
