That is true. We do not have control of people choosing to take things personally, but we can do our best not to make it personal. It’s not about cutting people out either, it’s about taking more control of how you spend your time, what you do with your life.

I often notice in business meetings everyone is trying their best to be or to look like the smartest person in the room. While in reality they would be doing themselves a favour by surrounding themselves with people who can bring their average up.
