Thank you Jason for sharing your perspective. It was a tough experience to get through with, but i never saw my actions in this situation quite in the same light like you described here. I am just hugely grateful for having that page in our society’s history over with.

I admire your restraint as it must have been tempting to tell him where to go in no uncertain terms and you would have been well within your rights to do so. Telling this pig head off would have felt wonderful but it wouldn’t have done a thing to change his behavior towards women and in fact may have been exactly what he wanted you to do. I truly admire your professionalism as you fought through this difficult situation, completed the job at hand, and learned something about yourself and others in the process. A great reminder of the progress made and the work still to be done.
